After we lost our son Araam, I couldn’t go back to the person I was before. I didn’t even know who she was anymore. My beliefs, my relationships, my sense of self – everything changed in the matter of moments. People say loss changes you, but they don’t tell you how disorienting it is to meet a version of yourself and a life you didn’t choose.
That’s what it means to be wayward—to have wandered from the familiar path not because you got lost, but because your world shattered and demanded you to become someone new.
If you’ve experienced a loss or rupture that has left you suspended between two lives - life before and life after - this is for you.
Wayward is a 5-week journey guiding you through the aftermath of loss. For those who are ready to rebuild their lives with honesty, agency, and power, we’ll explore and answer three essential questions:
ABOUT THE journey
01
Who am I now?
02
What do I believe now?
03
What do I do now?
I believe that If we don’t pause to rebuild the ground beneath us, the pain of loss quietly runs our lives. We keep functioning, but slightly disconnected from ourselves. Wayward offers a map for a safe and honest return to life.

    The Wayward Journey
Phase 1 — Rebuilding Identity in the Wake of Loss
- You’ll learn how to: - Understand how loss disrupts — and reshapes — your sense of self
- Grieve and honor the version of you that no longer exists
- Redefine your values, roles, and relationships with greater clarity
- Rebuild an inner foundation strong enough to hold what’s next

Phase 2 — Re-examining Faith, Meaning, and Trust
- You’ll explore how to: - Make sense of life after the collapse of old beliefs or meanings
- Untangle guilt, shame, and self-blame that keep you stuck
- Discern what’s true for you — and what’s rooted in fear
- Rebuild trust: in yourself, in life, and in what’s still possible

PHase 3 — Restoring Agency and Re-Engaging with Life
- You’ll practice how to: - Navigate uncertainty without needing guarantees
 - Reclaim your power to make choices and take aligned action
- Strengthen your energy, boundaries, and emotional responsibility
- Participate fully in life again — without abandoning your emotions

By the end of Wayward, you’ll have a renewed sense of who you are, what you believe, and how you want to move forward — not despite what happened, but because of how deeply it changed you.

About Your Guide
Hi, I’m Tallia Deljou — life coach, writer, and emotional health educator. Most importantly, I am a loss mom, too. Having experienced three losses of my own and still waiting for a baby earthside, I am all too familiar with the disorientation that comes after loss. To say this work is personal to me is an understatement.
For more than a decade, I’ve helped people navigate emotional healing, identity transitions, and deep life change. I hold a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology, and my work integrates attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and IFS-informed parts work to support emotional health.
This is my life’s work. I teach people how to feel safe in their lives again, especially when life has given them every reason not to.
Over the years, my work has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, MindBody, and other major media. I’ve delivered programs and training for Fortune 500 companies, global brands, and universities across the world.
- Rooted in identity reconstruction, not just emotional processing
- Regards loss as something to honor, not a problem to solve
- Trauma-aware, evidence-informed, spiritually inclusive
- Leads you toward self-trust and agency, not bypassing or avoidance
